Here is some ammo to go along with the beer -- Tell her "if it's on the internet it HAS to be true -- doesn't it?"

The pizza diet:

The weight problem in the United States is actually due to LOW FAT DIETS!!!!! If you don't believe me try it yourself. Raw unprocessed saturated fats will make you healthier, less sick, more energetic, improve your brain functions, and yes... make you skinny. Butter, whole milk, basically anything that hasn't been labeled low fat is your savior.

I have the blood work to prove it.

        Sounds good to me!

        Raw unprocessed

        I bet that's the key.

I think it may vary for different people.

          Other factors:

          1. Lack of exercise!

          2. Too many calories-- regardless of what they are.

          3. Estrogen mimicking toxins in our environment -- really:

New research reveals that some common food additives behave like estrogen in the body

A discovery that two commonly used food additives are estrogenic has led scientists to suspect that many ingredients added to the food supply may be capable of altering hormones.

          4. High fructose corn syrup-- in just about anything that has several ingredients!

          5. Trans-fat.

I live in Texas now, but grew up between Pilot Town (with my grandparents), and Biloxi, Miss. Lived around Jean Baptiste, and up to New Orleans. Couldn't get my wife to put up with snakes and gators, so we moved to E. Texas. lol

Brewer's yeast is known to be a rich source of nutrients; therefore, as expected, beer can contain significant amounts of nutrients, including magnesium, selenium, potassium, phosphorus, biotin, and B vitamins. In fact, beer is sometimes referred to as "liquid bread".[151] Some sources maintain that filtered beer loses much of its nutrition.[152][153]

A 2005 Japanese study found that low alcohol beer may possess strong anti-cancer properties.[154]

Perhaps you need some "magnesium, selenium, potassium, phosphorus, biotin, and B vitamins"?

Can I offer you a beer?

Beer's not to blame for weight gain

All beer drinkers know this, deep inside we really do know it. Beer is good for you! Our problem is that beer goes so well with things like pizza, hot dogs, greasy messy hamburgers, potato chips, etc. So, the best thing to do is avoid food and drink even more beer!

Ben Franklin said it best - "Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy."
