In the Philippines of all places, the concept of the eco-car is alive and well. Driving around the town of Tabontabon are taxis made 90% from bamboo and running, of course, on eco-fuel with a base of coconut. The coconut fuel appears to be very economical: one gallon (or 3.78 litres) is enough for eight hours of stop-start traffic
Here are some cars that are economical as well as recyclable -- pretty cute too.
This is hysterical! I wouldn't want to be an occupant if one of these Kindergarten arts & crafts projects were broadsided. I need a little more than popsicle sticks for protection. I'll stick with my SUV, thanks.
The only time there would be an air bag in one of these would be if there was politician riding around.
